Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Per the actions of NCM’s youngest (and most enthusiastic) visitors, the term Finger Painting will no longer be limited to the fingers; but will include the entire hand, portions of the forearm, and possibly the face. This change in definition will help to better define the creative process enjoyed by so many. Please make note of the change and alert your local news media.

Now back to our regularly scheduled blog post…

If you were unable to join us this past Friday, January 14th, for some “Finger” Painting fun, mark your calendars for our next event!

Designed for children 5 years old and under, this program is all the rage in the land of juice boxes and graham crackers. While offering parents the opportunity to foster color recognition, application techniques, and even a bit of performance art; our Finger Painting program provides children the opportunity to interact with their peers in a creative setting, fostering collaboration, and idea sharing.

We look forward to seeing you on the 2nd Friday of every month from 11am-12:30pm. Finger Painting is free with admission. Be sure to check our website for other program listings at thinkplaycreate.org/education.
