Families with sick children get encouragement from doctors

In the hospital, parents should be encouraged to stay with their child, sit in on physician “rounds,” and accompany the youngster during medical procedures, the statement says. TODAYMoms reports that a third of the respondents in a new survey published by the American Academy of Pediatrics said that arranging for an extra safety seat in advance was too hard, and research suggests that many drivers just find it easier to have all the kids either in or out of booster seats.
