The New Children's Museum offers tours for schools and non-profit organizations ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school, and beyond. In addition to your tour, you can choose to participate in a take-home studio activity, led by our trained artists!
School groups will experience Animal Art, an exciting exhibition of contemporary art designed for an audience of children and families that explores the complex relationship between humans and animals. Click here to learn more about Animal Art.
All school visits to The New Children’s Museum are:
- Participatory, hands-on experiences that encourage inquiry-based learning from original artworks.
- Designed to have interdisciplinary applications in the classroom in areas like visual arts, reading, writing, social studies, and science.
- Jam packed with fun! Engagement with 5–6 artworks, loads of activities in the Museum’s gallery space, and ample time to think, play, and create.
