1–15 children, 3 adults: $350
16–25 children, 5 adults: $550
26–35 children, 7 adults: $700
36–45 children, 9 adults: $875
46–60 children, 12 adults: $975
If you have less than the maximum number of children for your selected party, you are permitted to substitute additional adults for those spots. Beyond that, each additional adult is $10.
NCM members receive a 10% discount on a birthday party of any size!
In addition to parties in our redesigned Party Place, we now offer parties in our Arts Education Center for larger groups.

Please note: Please allow 48 hours for a staff member to follow up on your inquiry. Date and time slots will not be held until your Party Reservation Form and deposit payment have been received. Your deposit will not be processed unless your desired date and time slot are available.
To expedite the party reservation process, we recommend paying your birthday deposit by credit card. To pay by credit card, please complete the payment section of the Party Reservation Form. Your card will be charged once your preferred time slot is confirmed. The remaining party payment will be processed on the day of the party.
Once your Party Reservation Form is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from the Birthday Party Coordinator.
You are permitted to bring food, cake and drinks for the birthday party. The Museum does not provide refrigeration and heating for any food items.
Our museum is suitable for all ages, from toddler to teen. Parties are geared toward children turning three to ten years of age. However, we are able to accommodate all ages.
A party at NCM is a unique experience and an extension of the Museum and our mission. You are welcome to bring party decorations. We encourage creative and original décor, as our goal is to inspire children to think, play and create. However, balloons, piñatas and outside entertainment are not permitted.
The Museum does not provide reserved parking or storage for party items. The party host may arrive 20 minutes prior to the scheduled party time and use the loading zone on Island Avenue to unload any party items. A Birthday Party Facilitator will escort you to the party room for set up. Earlier access to the room is not permitted. All personal and party items must be removed at the conclusion of the party.
In order to maximize the NCM birthday party experience, we discourage the opening of birthday gifts during the party. Please do not plan to open presents during your time at The New Children’s Museum.
Please remind your guests to meet in the Museum lobby prior to the start of the party. Your Birthday Party Facilitator will greet guests and guide them to the party space where the celebration will begin. Your guests may continue to enjoy the Museum after the conclusion of the party. Please make sure that all personal and party items are removed from the party space before doing so.
At least two weeks notice is required to change the party date. In the event of a cancellation, the Museum will retain the non refundable deposit. |
