 When approached by NCM to produce a work that addresses humans' relationship to animals, Felipe Dulzaides chose to focus on transitional forms, popularly known as "missing links," that are the lost keys to evolutionary history. In conceiving of this work, Dulzaides considered how humans are in a constant and ongoing transitional process. His work Missing Links poses the questions: What are the human animals of the future? How are we changing now and what are we evolving into?
