KIDS AND FAMILIES ROCK INTO THE HOLIDAYS AT THE NEW CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
Free with admission, award-winning Rockola and School of Rock perform for all ages on November 20
November 12, 2010 — San Diego — The New Children’s Museum presents the Rock Out Family Concert on Saturday, November 20. School of Rock kicks off the afternoon at 1PM with band members ages 7–14 performing KISS favorites. Then from 2PM – 4PM, local sensation Rockola takes the stage for a full two-hour set. Families will enjoy fun-filled beats—guaranteed to appeal to kids and adults alike. Three decades of the greatest rock, pop, and soul have earned Rockola eight San Diego Music awards. In addition, Dolce Donuts will be on-site at the event serving fresh, hot mini-donuts!
NCM’s Rock Out Family Concert kicks off an extended series of holiday themed celebrations, seasonal workshops, day camps, and special activities through December 31. Holiday Happenings include multiple community events, enabling Museum visitors and members to enjoy additional family oriented programming at no additional charge.
