Every day NCM provides free educational opportunities to children from San Diego’s neediest schools. We deliver the enriching experiences our schools can no longer offer. From our arts education curriculum to the paint and clay we give away for free, NCM encourages school children to think, play, and create in new ways. As Janie Wardlow, Principal of Washington Elementary, explains, “you are doing nothing less than changing the way children learn.”

Last year’s gala empowered NCM to welcome 1 out of every 5 visitors free of charge. For the 2010–2011 school year, we want to grow our school program by 63% in order to serve 25,000 students.
