Scheduled Workshops

The New Children’s Museum offers a variety of unique, hands-on art-making workshops each day. Please note that workshop participation is on a first come, first served basis. Workshop times are subject to change and weather permitting.

Upper Level

Upper Level, Busby Family Studio

Recommended for ages 4 and under

This exciting, new sensory space has been designed just for littles! During our scheduled workshop times, the studio will be facilitated by one of our early childhood experts. Artists will teach sensory driven paint workshops where littles will explore color mixing, tools, and texture. Join us all day for drop-in play as well!

Visit our newest studio space and create simple art machines inspired by Rube Goldberg! Use various tools such as hammers, saws, and drills and put your design mind to the test. Children undergo safety training, learn how to use tools to build and manipulate elements for their art machines.

Visit our newest studio space to channel your inner Superhero! Use pipecleaners, beads and straws to make your own action figure or practice book-binding, drawing and storytelling to create a comic book!
